What Is This Session About?

In today's fast-paced world, attention spans are shrinking, and information overload is real. Attending a course on the essentials of microlearning design can equip training and adult educators, as well as managers, with the knowledge and tools to deliver impactful learning experiences in bite-sized, engaging formats. This empowers them to cater to learners' busy schedules, boost knowledge retention through spaced repetition, and address specific skill gaps efficiently. By understanding microlearning design, you will create targeted, accessible training that resonates with adult learners, leading to improved performance and a more engaged workforce.

What Does The Session Cover?

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the list of microlearning design principles in general.
  • Describe the implications of microlearning design principles for practice.
  • Use ThingLink or another preferred technology tool to design interactive media objects.
  • Apply microlearning design principles in the design of a contexualised microlearning course.

^ Assessment: Formative Assessment(s) (Assignments/Presentations/Practical Performances)

^ Completion: Upon 100% attendance and meeting Assessment requirement, learners will receive a Certificate of Participation from IAL (& other partners where applicable)

Who Is It Suitable For?
