Course Description

Change is no longer an occasional workplace event—it is a constant reality shaped by evolving technologies, shifting job demands and organisational transformation. As individuals navigate these changes, adaptability has become a critical capability for maintaining effectiveness, resilience and professional growth.

This programme equips training and adult educators, as well as working professionals, with practical frameworks and tools to better understand and respond to change. Participants will explore the factors that influence adaptability, examine personal responses to transition, and learn how to identify strengths, barriers and opportunities for growth.

Through self-assessments, guided reflection, practical exercises and action planning, participants will apply evidence-based models, including William Bridges’ Transition Model and the CAL²M Individual Change Model, to real or realistic workplace situations. They will develop a Personal Adaptability and Transition Action Plan to support future change efforts.

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to navigate transitions more effectively, strengthen their adaptability and take purposeful actions to respond confidently to change in the workplace.

Testimonials

The MBX has expanded my thinking about learning, innovation and change, and what happens when we take the boundaries seriously. Although boundary crossing is a new concept, I realise it's what many of us have been doing all these years as practitioners. Now we can relate our practice to theory and theory to practice.

July 2022 Cohort

I enrolled in this programme because it provides the "how" to get the job done. The curriculum design and delivery have allowed me to harness my strengths and recognize my weaknesses. This, coupled with interactive, fun, and knowledgeable lecturers, ensures a seamless transition for me from theory to practice.
